In a little over 12 hours I’ll find out how my training panned out. I followed Hal Higdon’s intermediate training plan for the BTN B1G 10K back in July. After that race I didn’t really know how to continue training since the starting weeks of the advanced plan was much lower mileage than I was used to running so I ended up sort of hodge-podging a plan together. I decided to at least follow the last 2 days of the Higdon plan and have 2 full rest days.
I’ll be happy to just come in under 52:39 but my goal is to run it in 50:00. I wish I could say I’m as confident going into this race as I was the last one.
